Lol, I have played BeatMania once in the arcades and well it was not at all crowded.

11th November last year.

I can clear most eights and some nines (both on hyper and another) - SP

7. Are you an arcade player or a CS player?

CS player because I have no idea where the closest machine is. (Italia maybe?)

8. Do you play single play? Double play? Do you play primarily one-handed?

I play both single and double. And I play primarily with both hands even though I’m not bad playing right handed.

9. What’s more important to you? Clearing hard songs or getting high EX score?

Neither. I just play for fun, but it is true that I prefer a decent score on a quite difficult song.

10. What made you start playing IIDX?

I knew about the game since its release but I never had the chance to play it. In France this game was so popular that trying the game out was almost impossible (you had to wait for a long long time). Anyway the first time I tried the game for real…I knew this game is cool for me and that I won’t just get rid of it^_~

11. What’s your favorite IIDX style? What’s your favorite song from each style (the “song of the style”)?

For the time being IIDX Red.

Red - Red Zone
Happy Sky - Sayounara Heaven
DistorteD - Ganymede

12. Who’s your favorite artist?

Nekomata Master, Tatsh, DJ Taka, Ryu, Yoshitaka…almost all of them^_^ but definately not Slake

13. What’s your favorite genre?

Gothic, Renaissance songs (DJ Troopers songs are nice). I like also Eurobeat, Happy Hardcore, Speed Rave etc. and then most I like songs which are mostly instrumental more classic or taken from a game (and here the genre varies a lot).

14. What are your favorite three songs (in order)?

Piano concerto no.1 Anti-Ares, Sayounara Heaven, Ganymede, Quasar etc. I don’t know I have many favorite songs.

15. Do you have any songs you don’t like playing but like the music for?

Mei, Oosenbashi…

16. Is using the EASY mod cheating?

Kind of yes. Actually it’s not that easy to clear a difficult song with it but anyway for me it’s kind of cheating.

17. What high speed level do you play at?

Usually Hi Speed 4. Depends on BPM and difficulty of the song. Sometimes I would prefer a higher speed mod. than it is available.

18. Ever died an instant death cause a fast song came on in a ranking course while you were on HS3?

Yes, it happened to me…

19. What do you think of autoscratch?

Cheating^_^. I think the game loses its charm.

20. Do you rush to build your combo back if you break it?

No, I don’t rush to build up my combo. It will come or it won’t.

21. Do you like jackhammers/long drills of same-key presses?

I hate them, that’s really something I can’t manage to do. I keep missing most of the notes.
I just can’t get the rhythm right. In Drummania it’s a different case…

22. Do you like scales/staircases?

Yes, I do like them…

23. Do you like chords (multiple keypresses at the same time)?

Not really but it’s what IIDX becomes at higher levels [h], [a]. It’s like chords everywhere…and some crazy streams and such.

24. Do you like scratches?

Yes, I mostly like them. But there are songs in which I hate them.

25. Do you like random, scattered patterns?

Actually I prefer whatever patterns it takes so my brain sees a logic in it. For example if you play Kakumei, you expect to see hell of scales and that’s what I prefer then playing that song on S-Random.

26. Do you like drumrolls?

No.

27. Do you accidentally choose the wrong song by turning the turntable too far,
or not far enough, at the song select screen?

Neither. I usually choose the right song.

28. Do you mean to play BATTLE mode with two people, but sometimes forget to turn it on before entering the game?

Yeah^_~. Happens to me quite often.

29. Have you ever meant to play a song Another but selected Light? Have you ever done the opposite?

Yes, I overdone the pressing the select button. But it never happened to me the other way round.

30. Have you ever meant to pick Easy but picked Hard?

Once.

I have no idea…

I usually play 7/14KEYS. I play EXPERT MODE only for the unlocks.

I guess it would be Red Zone, Happy Angel, Donna Toki Mo and Xepher

It depends. Sometimes I don’t play for a month, sometimes I play daily.

37. Ever wish you had another finger (or hand)? Or been able to see out your fingers? Or are you fine the way you are?

My fingers are fine the way they are.

No, I can’t.

I play both handed, but I tend to use my right hand more then the left hand which mostly scratches.

Yes, for example 321 Stars or yoshidasan

I can’t really say.

I have a favorite movie from one of Nekomata’s songs but I can’t remember the name. Then it would be Xepher, Blind Justice, Love Shine, Little Little Princess, SigSig…

Airflow on another as it was my first seven and my first song cleared on [a].

about a 100 greats, 0 of the rest on some five level song on hyper.

51. Have you ever done anything painful, like jam a finger while playing, or catch your fingernail in the gap between the button and its frame?

I squeezed my finger between a button and the place where the button normally is. I also once scratched with my nail only, that was quite painful.
But the most painful injury was when I tried to scratched and hit the edge of the turntable. I cut my finger from top to its bottom and it started bleeding. I had a scar from that for few months and I stopped scratching with my pinky because of this.

52. Does it help your score to have something tapping out the beat in the background, like someone clapping?

People don’t usually do that, but it helps me. Suikun showed me how to play IIDX and actually get flashing greats by yelling at me that I’m late or early and tapping my back to the rhythm.^_^

53. How many people does it take around a cabinet before you start forming a line?

More than 6

A song from DJ Yoshitaka, have no idea of the name though.

I hate this song…

Yes, but it happens more in PNM then IIDX.

I always stand while playing PNM or IIDX.

V [A] the hardest song ever, Holic[A] as this song gives me cramps, moon_child [A] as this was one of my most terrible fails.

I have no idea, but I know more boys playing IIDX than girls.

After my first 4th level songs cleared on double.

ANytime I start playing Happy Sky or Kecak/Gambol on DistorteD.

I tried to force my ex to play^_^. But he got depressed seeing my IIDX scores and never touched the controller again. But well I hooked few people on IIDX already, not so many though.

Yeah, my first times playing BM. I was failing the first stage usually…

No, it does not count for me.
