Youko brings you another two new routines! One was done purely for fun of doing Para Para (Ike Ike) and the second one well also for fun. Monkey Dance is a quite nice song in Beatmania IIDX so I decided it to dance it in my Hihumi cosplay costume.

At SportWall’s IHRSA 08 fitness and health trade show booth we could have a second look on the new PIU Pro multiplayer system. The MP system is wireless.
The maximum number of players is 32. An interesting feature is that people can choose from one difficulty to play or three different difficulties to play. Thus if you choose three you will see three different sets of arrows. Modifiers chosen apply to all three difficulties. At music select screen you see the connected pads and the disconnected ones.
During gameplay you see the arrow evaluation for each player on the bottom of the screen. At the end of the song you will see the grade and percentage you got.
The pads are pretty slim and they really look bad. The worse thing (for now I hope) is that the panels don’t have the same dimensions as the arcade ones. Also the pads does not seem to be too sturdy so I don’t know how much they can survive.
The European Championships in Machine Dance is over and now we all upload photos and videos and write reports. It will take some time till everything will be online.

Lately Maya Takamura’s video DVD was released. Maya Takamura is the only female in the IIDX staff. She works along other members of the graphics team on 2d and now 3d movies for IIDX games (Movie Designer). Her 2d drawings easy to recognize. Her lineart is not so strong and her coloring style reminds of water color use (no cel shading as most other artist do).
She brings a bit of lightness to IIDX graphic. She is most known for the illustration of Killer from Genocide. (from IIDX Red)
She has done videos for Xepher, Zenius-I-Vanisher, Blind Justice, Twelfth Style, Little Little Princess etc.
